HUMAN BEINGS

Craft a space, a workplace, a life.

Areas of Practice

“Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

IMHO God/Universe/Gaia/Life speaks through us as creative energy – so my projects are as diverse and as situated in time and space as my current spiritual practices will support. I approach my work as art, as healing, as relationship building – person to person, person to community, person to environment, person to God/Universe/Gaia/Life.

01

Design-Build

You have needs, informed by desires and preferences. I have some skill at listening, interpreting, and translating those things into physical objects and installations that add beauty and function to your world.

02

Organizational Performance

Trust is the secret sauce, all the competent research says so (not to mention the sages). It’s hard to build it, hard to regain it if it’s been lost, yet you can’t have a high-performing team without it. Facilitation and custom engagements to align your mojo.

03

Coaching & Consulting

Maybe your needs don’t fit into any of these boxes, yet for reasons you can’t explain, you still feel drawn. The only mistake is not following that instinct. Of all the trust relationships, the one with yourself is paramount.

04

Rites of Passage

Memorial & Marriage are the biggies, but I think we need more: deathbed, birth, adolescence, adulthood, and wise-elderhood to name a few. If you’re looking for a ceremony to mark an important threshold in your (pl) life, let’s talk.

05

Ministry

Whether in the pulpit or on the page, I surrender to the deep yearnings of life and do my best to translate those into words that inspire and aid our journey towards a world worthy of passing on to our children and ways of being worth teaching them.

06

Spiritual Sherpa

I’m not your director or your guide, this is your journey. I have travelled a bit, though. I can be handy in a pinch. I know a few helpful things to bring along and I’m not afraid of doing heavy lifting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a free consult available?

Yes, I offer a free thirty minute virtual meeting that can be requested online. Next steps will be set at the meeting. If you know you want an in-person or on-site meeting, this is still usually the best place to start.

Do you offer financing?

I offer labor financing. We can agree on a monthly rate and you can pay off my labor over time. I do not charge interest for this service, however, outstanding balances are adjusted for inflation each January based on U.S. Labor Department data.

Are you licensed and bonded?

No. I prefer my trust relationships direct, not mediated by third parties. I find litigiousness and private insurance corrosive to community and trust.

What are your rates?

I offer services on a sliding scale. Nominal design-build and consulting rates for individuals and non-profits is $75 per hour, commercial rate is $150 per hour. Ministerial services rates are baselined according to UUMA/Geo-4 Rates.

How does billing work?

I have a simple and transparent billing system. Requests for payment are usually sent via Venmo or PayPal, cash and EFT’s are also accepted. Other methods negotiable.

Do you do handywork, etc.?

Yes. I am a generalist with a broad skillset and I like to be helpful. I recommend the free thirty minute virtual meeting if we don’t know each other yet. That way we can figure out if I’m a good match for the work you need done or the problems you need solved. If I can’t help you, I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction.
